James Webb

Director

James Webb has almost twenty years’ managerial experience, spending the last fifteen of those working in the Social Care sector gaining experience in frontline services and operational management.

 

He has extensive experience in the residential care arena, specialising in aftercare, homelessness, disability and outreach.  As Chief Executive of Barróg Healthcare he brings an opportunity to share his experience and deliver his vision for real, person-centered, bespoke care packages delivered by a strong team.

Jenny Webb

Business Support

Jenny Webb has over 20 years experience in customer service, admin and people management. She is person-centered and has made it her goal to support people in gaining a healthy work-life balance. Ultimately a happy staff team will benefit the service user that is at the centre of what we do. Building a positive culture within an organization does not happen overnight; it is an ongoing project that Jenny is dedicated to.

Naomi Selim

Operations Manager

Naomi has worked in a range of settings across the UK and Ireland, her focus has been young people and their families, as well as young parents and people with a disability.

 

Over the past 12 years she has had a management role within a range of organisations, including drug and alcohol services as well as residential, aftercare and fostering services. Having done her BA Hons at Durham University, she has gone on to more in-depth study in areas such and Housing and Homelessness, Child Protection and Healthcare, as well as completing a Masters course in Voluntary Sector Management with Cass Business School.

 

She is committed to supporting staff to ensure that they in turn can provide high quality services to the people we support.

Tom O'Donnell

Quality Assurance

Tom O’Donnell is one of the most senior and well respected figures in the social care sector in Ireland. Over the last thirty years Tom has held senior positions including Residential Manager, Alternative Care Manager, Childcare Manager for the HSE Dublin North Central and Regional Childcare Specialist for HSE Dublin North East.

The roles have been varied but responsibilities have included staff support, training and supervision; overseeing of the child protection system, Children First; review of critical incidents; establishment of local multi-agency childcare committee; working with children with complex needs; child protection. 

Tom brings a wealth of unrivalled knowledge and expertise to the staff and clients of Barróg Healthcare.

Aisling Glynn

HR Officer 

Aisling Glynn has worked across multiple industries in management and HR roles with over 20 years’ experience. With a proven track record and a passion for supporting business and individual development, Aisling has a genuine focus on putting people at the centre of our decisions.

Sarah Slater

Aftercare Manager

Sarah has worked in community based social care settings for the last 5 years. Much of her work has been spent supporting families who are experiencing addiction problems, particularly young adults aged 12-24.  During this time, she conducted considerable inter-agency collaboration to support her client’s needs to achieving the best outcome possible for them.

Sarah’s particular areas of interest are prevention, harm reduction, education, homeless prevention and family access.

Sharon Kelly

Deputy Aftercare Manager

Sharon has worked in the Social Care sector across Dublin, Limerick and Kildare over the past ten years. During this time Sharon has worked with many young people in the care system in Ireland. Sharon has vast experience having worked across community-based projects, disability sector,  bespoke residential care services, for minors and young adults alike. As a Residential Deputy Manager, she worked with children between the ages of 12-18 within a residential setting, providing outreach services for family support, within a person-centred, multi-disciplinary approach. Sharon has a keen interest in working with young adults who have experienced childhood trauma and adversity. The main areas of interest for Sharon are mental health, challenging behaviour and dual diagnosis amongst young adults. Sharon is passionate about staff-support to her team, who work to best meet the needs of the young adults who are in residential settings / aftercare placement with Barróg Healthcare.

James Brady

Disability Service Manager, Cork

James has over twenty years working in the areas of intellectual disabilities and mental health. James worked in both day and residential intellectual disability services for 11 years before moving to CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services). James worked as a community mental health nurse – working with young people on both an individual basis as well as in a group setting.

James spent more than three years working in Trinity College, primarily with the Disability Service, managing complex mental health cases amongst the student population. He also worked in collaboration with College Health and the College Counselling Service during this time.

James has a keen interest in the areas of autism and mental health. He is ADOS trained & has carried out numerous ADOS’s as well as auditing the application of the ADOS in a clinical setting to ensure best practice. He has a Post-Grad in Cognitive Psychotherapy and in a Post-Grad Cert. in Workforce Management.

Cianna Cooney

Aftercare Service Manager

Cianna has worked in the social care sector across Galway, Limerick and Cork over the past five years. During this time Cianna has worked with many young people and adults who have been in the care system in Ireland. Cianna has vast experience having worked across community based projects, Garda diversion projects, specialized residential care services, mental health support for young adults and aftercare. Cianna has a keen interest in working with young adults who have experienced childhood trauma and adversity. The main areas of interest for Cianna are mental health, challenging behavior and addiction amongst young adults. Cianna is passionate about staff-support to her team, who work to best meet the needs of the young adults who are in an aftercare placement with Barróg Healthcare.
